The Family Planning Unit
At Ga West Municipal Hospital is committed to educating and providing family planning services tailored to the preferences of women and men. The unit offers counseling, contraceptive options, and reproductive health guidance to support informed decision-making and promote healthy family planning.

The Adolescent Health Unit
At Ga West Municipal Hospital provides a range of services aimed at preventing, detecting, and treating health and well-being issues in young people. The unit focuses on addressing physical, mental, and emotional health challenges through education, counseling, and medical care to support a healthy transition into adulthood.
FUNCTIONS
- Gives health talks at schools and communities on adolescent health
- Gives health education to pregnant adolescent at the ANC and CWC
- Does follow up on walk-in adolescent with peculiar problems (abused, pregnant adolescent) etc
